"Egyptian Blue" Lustre Print
Egyptian Blue is a pigment more than four thousand years old, manufactured in Egypt around 2500 BCE by firing small glassy material and grinding it down. In modern day, Egyptian Blue is seeing a revival due to the discovery that it (calcium copper silicate) can be broken down to create "nano sheets" that emit infrared radiation, making it useful in new technology such as medical imaging devices.
"Egyptian Blue" is the second in my Chroma series.
Preordered prints will ship by the end of April and are the only opportunity for the "metallic" print option.
